It sure is limiting if this can only be used for the original game and things built off of that. Have you considered respriting Super Mario Bros. (BTW, I'd prefer you keep working on Lost World than picking up on this again. You can add them to any in-progress hack by extracting them from SMWRedrawn and then inserting them into your own game. I'll make good use of this, icegoom, thanks a lot. Someone could definitely make use of those Koopas. I say go for it submitting them to SMWcentral. Somebody might be able to get some use out of them. Maybe I should submit those as ExGfx at SMWCentral or something. I did a fairly complete SMB3 Koopa set a while back, though: Maybe when I could take on such a project when I'm done with Lost World, but I typically just make sprites whenever I need them. I only tried SMB3 hacking once, created one level with Thwomps, and never even attempted to change any graphics. Wario and my perpetually unfinished SMB2 hack, but nothing that other people can really use as a base like this. What, the NES games? I've made new sprites for my my SMB1 hack Bowser Vs. (Although I haven't got much done on it this week besides some remappings) But since I have to make new foreground sets and overworld graphics for that game anyway, those graphics will eventually be transferred back to Redrawn. but that's just me.ĭon't worry, Lost World is my primary concern right now.
